The main building of the College is located in the heart of the City. • Time: 4th -
12th of July, 2008. • Artistic guidance: Mrs. Olga Lazarska - lecturer of the piano at Academy of Music
in Cracov (Poland), Mrs. Oxana Rapita - lecturer of the piano at 'M. Lysenko' Academy
of Music in Lviv (Ukraine), Mr. Stefan Kutrzeba - lecturer of the piano at Ylä-Satakunta College
of Music (Finland), Mrs. Kasia Stankowska – an
eminent jazz artist from Wroclaw (Poland), Mr. Michal Szczepanski - lecturer of the piano at Academy of Music
in Wroclaw (Poland). • At our Course this year
we will be having A Very Special Guest, the eminent Polish pianist and a
chamber music specialist, Professor Tadeusz
CHMIELEWSKI from the Academy of Music in Łodz.
• Languages of
Instruction: English, German, Polish, Russian and Finnish - according to the
Participants' needs. • Room and board: at the
academic Campus of the University of Information Technology and Management in
Rzeszów. Single and/or double
rooms featured with a small kitchen, bathroom incl. WC, Internet connection –
placed at very pleasant environment at the range of a beautiful lake. Good
bus connections to the City. Breakfast and dinner/supper included. Let you

you! • Fees: The Active Participant's fee of 1300 PLN (about 380,00 EURO)
includes 5 individual lessons (45 minutes each one), 3 classes in small
groups (45 min each) related to the piano improvisation including the
elements of jazz, free attendance to all the activities (passive
participation) and concerts; the truly easy access to the practicing rooms,
which are mostly equipped with the grand pianos; room and board (Polish breakfast + a fulsome
dinner) included. The Participants could ask for the additional individual
lessons including a detailed request in their applications; possibility to
get the additional lessons yet will depend on our tutors' temporal reserves. • The Passive Participants' fee of 700 PLN (about 200,00 EURO) includes
the free attendance to all the activities and concerts in addition to room

Welcome! • All the necessary information regarding to traveling, insurances and
other necessities would be provided to all future participants by email, fax
or phone on request. • Deadline: 9th of June 2008. • The City of Rzeszow is the capital of one of the most beloved tourist
regions in Poland. Due to the kindliness of Authorities of this region to our
Workshop, Participants of our Courses – apart from active piano studying –
would have many opportunities to take the full advantage of this region’s
unique beauty through access to many forms of sport, tourism, etc.
• Diplomas, handed at the Final Gala concert will honor the
Participants. Organizers hold the right to sound, video and TV
recording of any of the Workshop's activities. • The most active Participant would annually be honored by the
scholarship Prof. Janina Butor in
memoriam in form of the
free-of-charge participation in the next year's Workshop in Rzeszów. Starting
from the year 2004 the artistically most advanced Participants are honored by
possibilities to give recitals at International Music Festivals in Busko-Spa. • Only a limited amount of Participants would be accepted. The
